Judy and Dave performed for Library Night III at The Kinsale Inn of Mattapoisett on Mon., Jan. 22nd, 2007 (and Mon., Jan. 30th, 2006). Luana Josvold once again joined them with her accordian, playing such classics as La Vien Rose and the Who's Squeeze Box. A swell time was had by all!
Judy & Dave performed their jazz and blues that swings at the Nantucket Atheneum over Veteran's Day Weekend last November (2005). Their program included early jazz standards, blues tunes and original material.
Judy sat in on harp with blues great Rory Block, at the Narrows in Fall River on Jan. 28th. Thanks, Rory! (BTW: The Narrows is a great place to hear live music. Check It Out!)
On Sunday, April 24th, the Judy Wallace Trio performed for a special Open House at the Sturgis Library in Barnstable Village. The free event drew an enthusiastic crowd!
Dancers enjoyed the Judy Wallace Band at the Earth Day Birthday Ball on Friday, April 22nd at the VFW on George Ryder Road in Chatham. The 5-piece band rocked for the benefit of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
Dave & Judy had a great time performing on January 10, 2005 at the Kinsale Inn in Mattapoisett, to benefit the MFPL. Thank you to everyone for coming out to share the night (and to Luana Josvold for playing her accordian on our breaks). We played with our dance band for a holiday party for the past two years in December, at Alberto's Ristorante in Hyannis, to a group on contractors (the E.B. Norris Company). We finished our 7th season at the Book Store Restaurant, in Wellfleet, MA on August 25th, 2005. We also had a great season at the Barnstable Tavern that ended Sept. 2, 2005. Thanks to all of our supporters on the Cape. We're already looking forward to next year....We had a terrific time performing our duo at Brooks Free Library in Harwich on April 4th, 2004 for the Friends of BFL's Sunday Afternoon concert series. Thanks for making us feel so at home. We had a great time at the Red Jacket Inn, in North Conway, NH, on March 7th-8th, 2003. Thanks to musicians George, Joe, Pat, and Bob and the many dancers who made it happen. The Jazz Brunch at The Mews in Provincetown on May 4, 2003 was great fun for pianist Ron SanFilippo and me. We enjoyed the enthusiastic response. Thanks to everyone for joining us at the Shark City Festival on August 16, 2003 at the Deer Club in W. Barnstable, MA. We had a blast! On Wednesday, Aug. 21st, 2002 we performed with a 5-piece band on the Leonard Brown House Lawn, in Portsmouth, R.I. The concert was part of a series that was co-sponsored by The Newport Chamber of Commerce, the Newport Daily News , and the Music Performance Trust Fund of the American Federation of Musicians, Newport Local 529. Thanks to everyone who came out for that special event and to the Newport Daily News for the coverage!
